Instituting Digital Designs to Reduce Paper Drives Quality of Documents 50%

The program, sequestered in an area away from infrastructure and information systems, needed revised processes in the special environment. Challenged by the limited resources and access to systems. Created a computer infrastructure plan to support the critical program.

Led the engineering team to originate digital instruction with electronic simulations for shop technicians to build and test the product via electronic monitors and projectors rather than paperwork. The effort propelled improved configuration management, fewer paperwork deficiencies, and less assembly defects.

The endeavor nearly eliminated paper while enhancing the quality of documents and revisions 50% above operating site standards within 18 months.
