The operating division won a new contract with no plan or team in place to satisfy the obligations. Nominated to assist the senior program leader in devising a strategy and organizing a team to complete the contract. The division consisted of four legacy companies acquired in the past six years and never fully integrated into one single entity.

Aligned the reporting structure via visual management to escalate accountability for tasks that needed support. Initiated cross-functional sub-teams for assigned areas of responsibilities to create a unified program that embraced a lean manufacturing mindset to oversee functional deliverables. The lean approach fostered high-performing teams and ensured the government client participated in daily status meetings.
